【2021-11-04】On November 4, 2021, Prof. Xiaojie Lu from the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, CAS, was invited to give an online lecture entitled "Application of DNA-encoded compound libraries in small molecule drug development". The seminar was hosted by Professor Yizhou Li. More than 70 teachers and students from the School of Pharmaceutical Science attended the lecture.
Prof. Lu Xiaojie introduced the history of the development of DNA-encoded compound libraries and how to code small molecule compounds. He then gave us an overview of building strategies for DELs. In this presentation, Mr. Lu explained the use of new chemical reactions to construct DEL synthesis and the application of DEL to the screening of target proteins of interest. Prof. Lu combined artificial intelligence, high-throughput automated synthesis and DNA-encoded compounds libraries to explore drug targets in order to facilitate the development of new drugs.
We are deeply appreciated for the seminar given by Prof. Xiaojie Lu!
