【Seminar】Prof. Liang Ouyang from Sichuan University

【2021-09-17】On September 17, 2021, Prof. Liang Ouyang from the Nation Key Laboratory of Biotherapeutics, Sichuan University was invited to Chongqing University School of Pharmacy to give a lecture on "Small Molecule Medicinal Chemistry for Targeting Triple Negative Breast Cancer". The presentation was hosted by Professor Yizhou Li. More than 100 teachers and students from the School of Pharmaceutical Science attended the lecture.

Prof. Liang Ouyang has been engaged in drug design and medicinal chemistry. He has achieved systematic and innovative results in related fields: method development for target identification, small-molecule library construction, and efficient tools for target-based drug screening.

In this lecture, Prof. Liang Ouyang firstly introduced the concept of Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), then shared the recent research updates of his group in this field. Finally, he introduced the platform and R&D team of Sichuan University. The teachers and students were highly involved in Q&A part. After the lecture, Prof. Liang Ouyang gave high praise to the students from the School of Pharmaceutical Science.
